Maximilian Bohl – Director | Friday 30.10. | 21:30 HS

At the beginning of every journey there is a hope – mostly the hope for a better world. For a refugee, this hope only rarely becomes reality. However, this reality cannot be ignored if one wants to talk about the issues of xenophobia and racism in Germany and Europe. The music video for the song “Libero” portrays one of the many aspects of this world: the lack of empathy in the western world towards the circumstances of an escape, the privations and the often degrading circumstances of the so-called integration process. While the refugee’s still wet clothes are still dripping from the exhibits in the museum, the person who wore them is not seen.
